2024 ICE FISHING DERBY RULES
- The tournament begins February 10th at 6:00am and ends at 3:30pm.
- All legal waters in York County are included.
- Eligible species of fish: Rainbow trout, Brown trout, Lake trout, Brook trout, Landlocked Salmon, Splake, Bass and Crappie.
- Category winners will be determined by the heaviest fish weight each in it’s respective category.
- Fish will be weighed at an official weigh station in the Iron Tails Saloon (https://irontailssaloon.com/) parking lot by one of two club officials. These decisions will be final. Ties will be decided by earliest entry/tag time.
- Pliable fish only. Frozen fish will not be accepted.
- Contestants are responsible for knowing and obeying all State regulations for the waters they fish. Reference current laws at: https://www.maine.gov/ifw/fishing-boating/ fishing/laws-rules/index.html
- A registered contestant may enter more than one fish if within bag limits of the individual.
- Adult division is open to anyone over 16 with a valid fishing license. Child division for those under age 16.
- A child may choose to enter the Adult prize division but will forfeit their eligibility for any children’s priz
